Our Visual Pir

Hailing from lush green hills of Murree, Asmat Bashir was meant to be a Visual Artist. Growing up in the scenic mountains his aesthetic sense is nurtured by the symmetry of nature itself. Self-taught, he learned, evolved and excelled through fieldwork. He has experience of over 9 years as a cinematographer. He likes to keep up with the latest trends of visual storytelling and the innovations in the technology of modern cinematography. His notable works include award-winning documentaries like Indus Blues, K2 & The Invisible Footmen & Beyond the Heights. Currently, he is a part of an international crew in a documentary project for Netflix.
